Plastic Plant Pots Driving you Potty?

Now we're in the New Year you may be thinking about having a bit of a clear out at home. Including your shed, garage and greenhouse. Which may mean you want to get rid of some unused and unloved plant pots. But #dyk you can't just pop your plant pots in your recycling waste. So what can you do? Well! 2020 is the International Year of Plant Health (IYPH)

#dyk that 2020 is the International Year of Plant Health (IYPH).It was orginally an initiative set up in 2015 at the 10th Session of the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures, Finland. But in 2018 the United Nations General Assembly moved to adopt it. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to raise global awareness on how protecting plant health can help end hunger, reduce poverty, protect the environment, and boost economic development. What am I doing to help support #PlantHealth?- Promoting environmentally friendly products and practices for preventing and managing pests.- Make trading and transporting plants and plant products safer by complying with international plant health standards and legislation.
