Shipping and Postage Info

Postage and packing charges have been REDUCED! As of 21st April 2022 the cost of standard shipping is just £4.99 or free when you spend £45 or more and use code FREESHIPPING45. 

Despatch Times
I aim to despatch within 48 working hours of order. (Monday to Thursday).
Despatch does not take place on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday due to parcels having to sit in the sorting office over the weekend. Collections are made from the shop in Brooke, Norfolk twice a day at 12noon and 3pm. If you order if urgent it may be able to be shipped same day - pop us an email at to see what if your parcel can be sent ASAP. 

When you item has been despatched you will receive an email and/or SMS notification from Pretty Cactus Plants with your tracking link. This will help you keep an eye on your order as it travels to you. 

Royal Mail will also email and send SMS update for your order. 

NOTE: If your parcel is showing as at Peterborough Sorting Office - this is correct. This is the main outbound sorting office, after leaving Norwich for parcels leaving Pretty Cactus Plants. 

Small Items 
Under 60cm Tall 
All items that can be packed in boxes less than 60cm tall will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked48. Delivery updates will be sent to the email address and phone number provided at time of check out. During colder weather a free of charge heat pack will be added to orders. 

Large Items 
Taller than 60cm 
Items which are larger than 60cm tall will be sent via courier. My preferred courier is UPS. This is a next working day delivery service. 
Delivery updates will be sent to the email address and phone number provided at time of check out. 

NOTE: Courier shipments are booked for pick up Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only. 

Delivery Address 
Please ensure the delivery address is correct at time of ordering. Addresses cannot be changed once and order has been placed. The address your order will be shipped to will be exactly as it is shown on your order confirmation. 



All parcels are sent with recycled materials, or materials that can be recycled. 

Any plastic sleeves used to cover plants during shipping are those that I have received from growers. No new plastic sleeves are purchased. 

Any bubble wrap or box filler made from plastic is also recycled and has come from stock shipments sent to me. 

If pre-used materials are not available or suitable for use, your order will be wrapped and packed in eco-friendly materials. All of which can be placed in a domestic recycling bin.

NOTE: Where possible I re-used cardboard boxes. This means that your order may arrive with another companies branding on the outside. 


If you do happen to have any issues with your online orders; delays, lost or are damaged on arrival make sure you get in touch ASAP by emailing with your order number and a brief description of the issue.
If your item is damaged make sure you pop over some photos of the item and the box in which it was delivered to help make the claim with Royal Mail.
Any issues will be resolved with your choice of a replacement or refund. 
NOTE: If items are now out of stock, replacements can not be shipped and a refund will automatically be sent.
