Ficus Alii doesn't exist in nature as it is a hybrid plant developed recently in the lab. It has been specifically cultivated to be a houseplant and copes will in modern houses with central heating.
This handsome indoor tree has long, narrow leaves that have a glossy look to them. As this ficus tree grows, it may drop its lower leaves revealing a bare woody trunk, giving this tree a palm-like appearance.
Water when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil moist at all times, but do not over water as this will cause leaf drop. Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate partial shade. Direct sunlight may burn the leaves.
Delivered in a 21cm plastic pot.
Approx. 1.2m tall
