Hoya Australis Lisa is a gorgeous variegated plant.
These hoya are easy to care for. In fact the less you do, the more they will thrive.
This is delivered on a wooden trellis, however it is easy to remove and have hanging if you would prefer.
Leave your Hoya to hang, or you can get it to climb, either way it will be happy.
Hoya australis was first collected by Europeans in 1770 on the northeastern coast of Australia. According to the Australian Native Plants Society, there are over 200 species of Hoya, and seven of them belong to Australia. Hoya australis is the most prevalent and commonly grown of the Australian species.
They do not like too much water, little and often, spraying frequently as they like humid conditions. Bright light, but shade from full sun.
Place them in bright, indirect sunlight.
In the winter growth or most plants will slow down. With Hoyas the general rule is - the lower the light, the slower the growth rate. What I've found is that different Hoyas grow at slightly different rates. So don't worry if one of your hoya plants is growing quicker than the others.
These guys like a bright warm room. Consider a south facing room. They great on shelves or in Macrame hangers.
