This Chamaedorea metallica is the lesser known relative of the parlour palm, but just as easy to care for.
It has wide fishtail like leaves with a silver, almost metallic sheen. Which is where the plant gets its name.
Chamaedorea metallica is very slow growing bot so worth it.
Place in a light position but not overly bright position in the house and make sure it is kept warm.
Remember to mist on super hot days.
Water regularly in the spring and summer and cut back in the winter months.
Tip: Brown tips on the leaves mean the humidity needs to be raised, give it a misting.
Delivered in a 21cm plastic pot.
