This Pilea Glaucophylla is easy to care for and is a fast-growing houseplant. Its common name is silver-leaved artillery plant. No idea why. The leaves do have a silver shimmer to them... but otherwise, I'm lost as to why. Answer on a postcard if you know the answer!
In the wild, it mostly grows in Colombia as is a ground-covering plant rather than a trailing succulent plant. It is a great, fuss-free hanging indoor plant which will look great in a Macrame Hanger or on a shelf.
It will manage in most light conditions, though it likes a bright spot best.
Keep this little plant lightly moist, letting the top inch of my soil dry between waterings.
Place in a nice sunny spot.
Quick to grow. It would benefit from a re-pot every 12 to 18 months to encourage growth. Sizing up by 1" in terms of pot each time.
Completely pet safe.
Delivered in a 8cm pot.
