This Stetsonia coryne, the toothpick cactus, is the sole species in the cactus genus Stetsonia. Making is a very unique cactus with no 'close matches' in terms of its genetic features. It is also known as a Toothpick Cactus and comes from the deserts and dry forests of Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay.
This is a drought-tolerant plant with low watering requirements. Only water when the soil is completely dry.
Place in a nice sunny spot which gets at least 4 hours of sunshine a day.
It is cold-tolerant but not frost-hardy, which means you can pop it outside in the sping and summer but it will need bringing in before the frosts set in.
Delivered in 10.5cm plastic pot.
